Weekend without underground
This weekend, from May 11 to May 12, the traffic on the first underground line between RATUSZ-ARSENSAŁ and POLITECHNIKA stations will be excluded. At the same time changes in the tram communications will be introduced. Changes are caused by work on the construction of the central section of the second underground line.
From Saturday – May 11 – from 12.00 AM to Monday – May 13 – to 4.00 AM trains won’t run on the section between RATUSZ-ARSENAŁ and POLITECHNIKA. ŚWIĘTOKRZYSKA and CENTRUM stations will be unavailable to passengers. Therefore ZTM will introduce changes in the tram communications. Three additional tram lines 73, 74 and 75 will be made available. The lines 14 and 37 will be suspended.
Additional lines
The passengers could use three additional lines:
- 73 – WORONICZA – Wołoska – al. Niepodległości – al. Jana Pawła II – most Gdański – Jagiellońska – RATUSZOWA ZOO
On Saturday, from 7.00 AM to 7.00 PM and on Sunday, from 11.00 AM to 7.00 PM the line will run approximately every 5-7,5 minutes, and other times – approximately every 10-20 minutes.
- 74 – PL. NARUTOWICZA – Nowowiejska – Marszałkowska – Andersa – Międzyparkowa – most Gdański – Starzyńskiego – Odrowąża – Rembielińska – ANNOPOL
On Saturday, from 7.00 AM to 7.00 PM and on Sunday, from 11.00 AM to 7.00 PM the line will run approximately every 7,5 minutes and at other times – approximately every 10 minutes.
- 75 – PL. NARUTOWICZA – Nowowiejska – Marszałkowska – Andersa – Mickiewicza – Słowackiego – METRO MARYMONT
On Saturday, from 7.00 AM to 7.00 PM and on Sunday, from 11.00 AM to 7.00 PM the line will run approximately every 7,5 minutes and at other times – approximately every 10 minutes. Additionally, the line 75 will run on the night of Friday and Saturday, May 10/11 and on the night of Saturday and Sunday, May 11/12 from 11.00 PM to 3.00 AM.
Suspended lines
The lines 14 (METRO-WILANOWSKA – BANACHA) and 37 (SŁUŻEWIEC – RATUSZOWA-ZOO) will be suspended.
The exclusion of the traffic on the first underground line – on the same section – is also planned for the weekend from May 25 to May 26.
