The boat to Serock
It is worth taking part in a daylong and exciting cruise to Serock. This year the trip starts from the pier at Warsaw’s Żerań. The ship continues along the Żerański Canal, and from its deck you can admire the beauty of nature.
The route runs along a fragment of the Batory water route, and the Zegrzyńskie Lake itself is a real paradise for anglers and water sports enthusiasts. On the way to Serock, the ship additionally sails to the ruins of the old bridge from 1897, which was blown up by the retreating Russian troops in 1915. The passengers have a two hour break in Serock, where they can take a walk or a rest on the beach.
Zefir takes 98 passengers on board. Each passenger has guaranteed a covered seat with access to a table. The ship has a grill and a buffet with hot and cold drinks.
The ship sails on the route: Żerań (pier next to the Cementownia 02 bus stop) – Żerański Canal – Zegrzyńskie Lake – Serock and back. Cruises take place on Saturdays and Sundays from 1 of May to end of September and additionally on 9 of June.
“Zefir” leaves at 9.00 from the pier at the Żerański Canal (near the Cementownia 02 bus stop), at 12.30 arrives at the shore in Serock to set off back to Warsaw at 14.30. The cruise ends around 18.00. These hours, except the departure time, may change. The passengers will be informed about it during the cruise.
Access to the pier is possible by bus lines 126, 705, 735 and 736 to the Cementownia stop (on request) or by SKM S3, S4 trains and Koleje Mazowieckie R9 trains to the Warszawa Żerań stop (about 300 meters from the pier).
If you decide to get to the pier by car, we encourage you to use the P+R Żerań PKP car park, located along the Warszawa Żerań railway stop. For people with a valid ticket from 24h and above, parking is free.
In order to buy a ticket just visit www.bilety24.pl. You can also buy the tickets visiting the ZTM Passenger Service Point located on the Dworzec Wileński metro station (on Fridays from 15.00 to 18.00 nad on Saturdays from 8.00 to 11.00). The paiment is available only by cash.
Free tickets are available only at the Passenger Service Point „Dworzec Wileński”. There is a limited pool of free tickets for each cruise.
Passengers who resign from the cruise to Serock should report to the Passenger Service Point „Dworzec Wileński” during the ticket sales hours – no later than one day before the planned cruise. In the case of returning a ticket purchased on-line, it should be physically printed and returned on this basis. The return is not possible on the basis of the QR code received electronically.
